Hotels in Australia

Aus is a popular holiday destination for tourists from the UK, with some people even deciding to move there with their belongings, which they send in container box shipping to Australia. For most people though, a two or three week holiday is more than enough.

Australia seems perfectly set up to receive the visiting tourist. It seems that every town and city has an abundance of accommodation from which to make a choice. There is something for every budget and taste, from the swankiest hotel to the cheapest backpacker hostel.

These hotels can either be booked as part of a package through a regular travel agent, or reserved independently online. Most hotels and other accommodation options in Australia now have some form of online presence in order to do this.

The quality of hotels in Australia is generally very good, especially at the upper end. Customer service in the land down under can seem a bit lacking at times though, and even makes the UK look excellent in this regard! Think of it as part of the Ozzy charm.

The internet is a great place to start looking at places to stay, as most of the sites come with good photos and some even have customer reviews. However, the cheapest prices can normally be found at last minute reservation sites, so these may be also worth visiting.
